Trumpet Party night before Arcadia! Eddie’s house! Korean food, omgaaah. So good. Homemade bulgolgi, California rolls, and potstickers. Seriously so freaking good. COD and talking, just hanging out! Went home to finish making cake balls for secret pal! Then wrote senior letters and went to bed at 2!
Running on 3-4ish hours of sleep! ARCADIA!!!! Bus ride! 7 little words. Parade! No drops :D Did really well. Senior Gifts! Hat, backpack, pictures & frame! I really like the hat. Like a lot. Parade awards take forever and this is the first time I actually sat in the stands and watched. Tied with Riverside Kings in parade! FYEAH.
Dinner break! So short. Ate at KFC, like tradition! Back to the bus. So cold! Section Leader video. Getting ready for field show! Did our thing and felt so good afterwards. After four years, they made the high school hashes real. Still missed a set D: Whatever! Changed and did senior line! So many freshmen. I didnt cry until I had to hug Stacey.. when we hugged it went along the lines of:
Stacey: I love you. Thank you for being there all four years!
Me: I love YOU! Thank you for being my best friend..
Stacey and I: AHHHH. (crying)
Me: SADKLFSKLD. You suck.
Stacey: You suck too!
Then it was time to go watch awards! So freaking nervous and scared the whole time. 1st place in Parade. Music Sweeps. 1st place overall parade and field. So depressing to hear them call RB, we worked so hard and we had such a good chance. But its all good. We did the best that we could and it payed off. We killed in music but not enough. I dont want to make excuses, but there are some reasons that Ms. Ward told us why RB won parade. And whatever. Its all done now and there isnt anything we can do about it except be happy!
Finished the night with a good bus ride home! And then crashed.
Could not have asked for a better marching season.
